CONFIRMING YOUR BOOKING – 

You must complete booking form we will email you , to secure your booking and date you must pay £250 deposit non refundable, balance is due 8 weeks before departure date , if less than 8 weeks before travel payment in full must be made .

SECURITY DEPOSIT –

Our standard security deposit is £750 for 4 berth and £750 on 6 berth is required to be paid of day of departure and returned at the End of the Hire period after satisfactory vehicle inspection

In the event that the conditions are not acceptable the following charges will apply :

Toilet not emptied and cleaned £100
Unclean toilet/bathroom  £50
Unclean living Area £50-£150
Fridge or cupboards not cleaned £25
Smoking in vehicle £300

Parking/speeding or any other actions that contravene the road traffic act , that are not limited to but include bus lane, traffic lights at red or any endorsable  Itami on will be charged at £25 for administration purposes

Any damages or breakages found that have not been reported will incur a £25 administration charge

DRIVERS TERMS –

Drivers must be over 25 -75 with full uk/eu  driving license and held driving license for minimum two years with category B to drive up to 3500kg (standard driving license ) No major endorsements , if you have any endorsements we would need these declared on booking form to consult with insurance company .

Upon collection of vehicle all drivers must provide :

Valid photo card driving license
Valid uk dvla check code
2 Proof of address dated within last month and matching address on driving license

COLLECTION AND DROP OFF –

Collection and drop is from our premises , drop off time is 11 am and collection time is 2pm , please note charges apply for late drop off, as this has a knock on effect for turning round vehicles for next customer .

INSURANCE –

All prices quoted include insurance , our excess is £750 for 4 berth and £750 for 6 berth. All drivers must be listed on booking form.

On return of the vehicle an inspection will be done and any damage noted and advised if any deductions would be required off the security deposit .

Any damage to the vehicle that is not covered by insurance claim would be deducted from security deposit taken , this includes any loss of equipment , and. A charge of £50 per hour labour rate to any in house repairs required .

Any accident must be reported to us immediately by telephone and complete accident forms located in the information folder .

Any damage to tyres, Wing mirrors and windscreen and any theft of personal property is not covered by our insurance , this would be at your expense . We suggest travel insurance for your personal property .

Interior furniture and fittings are not covered for any loss or damage , these items will be charged at the cost of replacement , unless damage directly caused by accident .

Any person driving the motorhome who is not listed on the rental agreement will invalidate the insurance .

Any damage occurred will be sent to body shop for assessment and costing prior to any charge being made . If damage to roof section , anything above the windscreen level will be charged at the full cost of repair out with t and c’s as this is classed as negligent and is not covered by the insurance , and these can be expensive repairs .

In the event of charges exceed your security deposit you will be charged the additional amount and this payment is due immediately .

Any damage to the engine due to fluids not being checked correctly or regularly , or incorrect fuel will be charged at full costs of repair .

Any event which deems the vehicle unusable will be liable for loss of use and charged at daily rate .

CANCELLATION CHARGE – 

If in the unfortunate event you require to cancel the following applies :

If within 4 weeks of collection date 100%
If 4-6 week before collection 50%
Over 6 weeks before collection forfeit non refundable deposit

Failure to pay balance when due 8 weeks before departure will be treated as cancellation and deposit and forfeit all sums paid

Should you be asked to cancel due to testing positive due to COVID 19 or asked to self isolate from nhs we offer to transfer your booking to another suitable date or offer a refund .

PET POLICY – 

We have a pet friendly van , and additional charge of £40 is payable , this must be stated on the booking form at time of booking . We ask pets are not allowed on soft furnishings and not left unattended in the vehicle . Any vehicles that have had unauthorised use of pets will be charged £100 and any vehicle that is returned in unsatisfactory state due to animal hairs we will charge £50.

OUR OBLIGATIONS – 

If for any reason our motorhome becomes unavailable due to previous hirers or yourself  having accident/breakdown/fire/theft /mechanical issue /electrical issue or weather we will do everything possible to supply a motorhome of similar size and spec . Also if any breakdowns with If this is not possible we will offer a full  refund for any whole days for which we cannot provide you with a motorhome . If breach of t & cs have occurred we reserve the right to not refund any monies at all .

Highgrove motorhome hire will have no obligations whatsoever with regards to refunding any monies paid by hirer for campsites , events or any other ongoing travel arrangements , or any other circumstances .

In the event of a breakdown we have full uk and European breakdown cover .

NON SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is not permitted inside the motorhomes , if this incurs you will be charged £300

CUSTOMER VECHICLES

We have a secure gated cctv premises where you are able to leave one vehicle , this is parked at your own risk  and keys must be left with us .

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Bedding and towel package £60

Airport or train station collection subject to additional charge.

We reserve the right to alter the rates and conditions at any time.  We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel a hire to any person without warning or explanation.  Additions to, or alterations of the terms of this agreement shall be null and void unless agreed upon in writing by all concerned parties.
